Welcome

The Delta Tule Trekkers is a "Walk for the health of it" club. We are a member of the American Volksport Association (AVA) and California Volksport Association (CVA). We invite you to join us in this growing sport of planned walks, often called a "Volksmarch". Our meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month at Angelano's restaurant located at 1020 N. Main St. in Manteca, Ca.

Walk distances are generally 10K and 5K. Each walk will follow interesting and often historical parts of the area as well as parks and trails when available along the route. Details on walks sponsored by our club can be found on our walk list, as well as our walk map. To find other intersting walks anywhere in the U.S. see the AVA National walk locator.

Ask for the walk binder or box at the starting point and follow instructions in the binder. Participants in wheelchairs or walkers with strollers are often advised to do the 5K walks. These events are open to everyone. Children under 12 must be signed for by an accompanied adult.
